Dynavac Director of Technology, Ramya Chandrasekaran Ph.D. presented “Internal Cryopumps for Electric Propulsion Test Chambers” at the recent 31st IEST Space Simulation Conference. The associated paper describes the design and performance characteristics of cryopumping systems used in testing spacecraft electric propulsion systems, and includes discussion of optimal cryopump and coooling surface design.
