Dynavac developed high efficiency DLC films on chalcogenide substrates under a joint development agreement with a leader in the precision optical industry. The Dynavac Application Lab’s research and development team is designing coating recipes and equipment configurations, adding another turn-key optical deposition system to the company’s product line. Following completion of the R&D work, the customer will serve as a beta site testing films for its optical and durability performance.
